Hi, I’m Sophie—dog trainer, outdoor enthusiast, and someone who believes the best kind of day is the one spent in the wild with muddy boots, tired dogs, and a full heart.

Penny, my English Setter, was the one who started it all. She was my first sporting dog, and from the very beginning, she showed me what adventure really means. We’d spend hours out in the mountains and forest—rain or shine—exploring together. But it didn’t take long to realize that the gear we had couldn’t keep up with us. Nothing fit quite right. Nothing held up to our kind of lifestyle.

So, I created Penny & Co out of necessity—and love. Penny deserved better gear. So did Oliver, my ever-energetic Vizsla, and Fezco, my Belgian Malinois. Together, we’ve put every leash, collar, and accessory through the ultimate test: long hikes, training sessions, dog sports, and countless hours in nature. Our gear is built to handle it all—just like the dogs it’s made for.

My background as a CPA gave me the business know-how, but it’s my dogs who gave me the why. Every design, every product, every detail is inspired by the real, messy, beautiful life I share with them. Our logo represents Penny’s view—her eyes on the trail ahead, always leading the way through the mountains and forest. She’s the first one up the path, the first to catch the scent of adventure, and the one we’re all following, in more ways than one. It’s her world we’re exploring.
